About Ravenside Lending

Is Ravenside Lending a lender?

No. Despite the name, Ravenside Lending is a broker, not a lender.

Where is the office?

128 Rose Ave, Macon, GA 31204. Phone (478) 209-5383. Everything else is on the contact page.

Which Middle Georgia areas do you work with?

Businesses across Macon-Bibb County and nearby Middle Georgia towns, by phone and online. The Middle Georgia areas page names each one.

Do you arrange personal, payday, title or home loans?

No. Ravenside Lending handles business funding and nothing else.

Choosing funding

Which of the six funding types should I look at first?

Start from what the money pays for and how it will come back. The six funding types are compared side by side.

Can I use a business loan to pay myself as the owner?

Funding raised for a business is meant to be spent on the business. A normal salary paid through payroll is generally an operating cost, but many contracts restrict owner distributions and personal use. Read the use-of-proceeds clause.

Can I use a personal loan for my business instead?

Some owners do, but it puts the debt in your own name and does not build the business's credit history. Personal loans are not something Ravenside Lending arranges.

Legally speaking, is a merchant cash advance a loan?

No. A merchant cash advance is not a loan; it is a purchase of future receivables. The advance page explains holdbacks, reconciliation and total cost.

Applying

Can a Georgia LLC get a business loan?

Yes. Partners lend to LLCs and corporations, usually after checking that the entity is active with the Georgia Secretary of State. Owners are often asked for a personal guarantee.

What does the Ravenside Lending request form ask for?

Your first and last name, email, phone and business name, plus a consent checkbox. The purpose comes up on our call back, not on the form.

Will a lending partner check my credit and my business's?

Most partners check business credit and the credit of each owner. Ask which kind of inquiry the partner plans to make.

Is approval certain?

No. Partners use their own criteria, and any of them can say no. Nobody can promise an approval in advance.
